Dr. danielle moore
Dr. Moore, who goes by her maiden name professionally, grew up in upstate New York in the Adirondack mountains. She is a 2002 graduate of Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Moore is an experienced practitioner in clinical medicine, emergency medicine, and soft tissue and orthopedic surgery. After 14 years of working in private practice in North Carolina, her desire for a new challenge prompted her to enroll in the University of Iowa Master of Public Health program for practicing veterinarians. She recently completed her Masters while working for the USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service as a Supervisory Public Health Veterinarian.
When the unique opportunity to work with the Pet Paradise family presented itself, the decision to return to clinical practice in North Carolina was an easy one. Dr. Moore is very impressed with the philosophy and future direction of the company. As a regional Medical Director, she is excited to utilize her skill set to help implement and expand Pet Paradise’s new clinical Veterinary Services program.
When not working, Dr. Moore enjoys outdoor recreational activities with her veterinarian husband Don, and two teenage sons. She has a passion for world travel, always up for an adventure whether riding camels in Morocco, climbing the Great Wall of China, scuba diving in the Galapagos, trekking through rain forests in Borneo, snorkeling in the Great Barrier Reef, or on safari in Africa.
You’ll find that Dr. Moore is an incredibly compassionate veterinarian who enjoys interacting with clients and their pets. She realizes the importance of developing long lasting relationships with them and becoming a part of their family!
